As I pointed out yesterday, today is the day that many are calling the "Super Tuesday" of 2010. We will be watching to see how all of this unfolds .. particularly for Pennsylvania's Arlen Specter. Seeing the avalanche that is looming come November, the Democrat strategy is to argue that the Republicans have just as much to be worried about as Democrats. An Obama advisor says, "It's a weird environment. The real divide isn't between Republicans and Democrats ... It's America and Washington." Good. It's about time. The Democrat strategy may be true - Republicans should be worried, too - but that is exactly the point: the people of this nation don't really care what party label you have after your name, only that you are a strong candidate who is willing to actually represent your views in Washington. It's a hard concept to grasp, I know, but we are getting there.
