SUPER TUESDAY RESULTS

By Neal Boortz

Arlen Specter is out. You gotta love that. Blanche Lincoln is in a runoff in Arkansas ... a runoff against a moveon.org leftist barking moonbat. Libertarian/Republican Rand Paul clobbers the GOP establishment in Kentucky. What's it all mean?

Some commentators are saying that Obama is now 0 for 4. True, I guess. Do I really want to get my hopes up that people in this country are finally seeing through this dangerous big-government anti-private sector statist? Maybe the question is whether or not there are enough people in this country who believe in liberty and self-reliance to actually make a difference. It would seem we have those people in Kentucky ... but it's hard to take solace in Specter's ouster when you realize that Sestak is far to the left of the dethroned Senator from Pennsylvania.

I think the best thing that can be said of yesterday's results is that the anti-incumbent mood is apparent. I don't see how ousting incumbents is anything but good. Something has to happen to convince these career politicians that their jobs still belong to us .. not to them .. and that we retain the right to fire them when they're not doing the job well. We own this thing -- not them. We set the business plan - not them. We are the shareholders. They are the board of directors. We call the shots .. and some shots were most certainly called yesterday.

We'll have Jamie Dupree on the air today at 9:35, 10:35 and our regular time 12:06 ET to discuss yesterday's results. Who knows .. maybe I will trip him into expressing a personal bias.
