PERMANENT RELIEF ON THE TABLE

Previous Posts

Tax relief is on the table. These is no claiming that Republicans haven't come up with any ideas .. there is no claiming that Republicans are only interested in protecting the wealthy .. here is tax relief that individuals, businesses, investors, entrepreneurs, rich, poor, everyone can benefit from either directly or indirectly. And don't let the Democrats use this line about not being able to "afford" these tax cuts. Remember .. the Democrat premise here is that these taxes they expect at some point in the future already BELONG to the government and not to the person who will eventually earn it. By not collecting those taxes, somehow we are cheating the government out of its money! So here is a look at what Reps. Jim DeMint and Mike Pence are offering: The Pence-DeMint Tax Relief Certainty Act:

Make permanent the 2001 and 2003 individual income tax relief for all hard-working Americans, preserving the 10%, 15%, 25%, 28%, 33% and 35% income tax brackets, rather than allowing President Obama and Democrats to increase the top tax bracket to 39.6% and increase taxes on the lowest earning Americans in the bottom 10% bracket.

Permanently repeal the immoral and unfair death tax;

Prevent the tax increase on the maximum tax rate on capital gains and dividends income for all Americans, rather than allowing the Democrats to increase the rates to 20% and 39.6% respectively, from the current 15%; and

Permanently patch the Alternative Minimum Tax (AMT) by increasing the AMT exemption.

This isn't rocket surgery. If our private sector is going to grow, it needs confidence in the future so that it can plan accordingly, make businesses models and hopefully continue expand. But they can't do that with a Congress that can't make up its mind about how much money it wants to take and redistribute to the moocher class. Barack Obama is struggling with a confidence crisis, which is only being dragged on by Democrats who are unwilling to let their socialist, utopian, redistribution dreams go by the wayside.
