Where are the jobs in the Obama economy?

A little help for you job seekers out there.  That’s me … always here to help.

If you need a job, the federal government is your best bet.  More specifically: federal regulatory agencies.  That’s right .. in the Obama economy, you would probably have a better shot of getting a job working on implementing federal regulations than you would in the private sector.  John Merline of Investors Business Daily has the numbers.

If the federal government's regulatory operation were a business, it would be one of the 50 biggest in the country in terms of revenues, and the third largest in terms of employees, with more people working for it than McDonald's, Ford, Disney and Boeing combined …

Regulatory agencies have seen their combined budgets grow a healthy 16% since 2008, topping $54 billion …That's at a time when the overall economy grew a paltry 5%.

Meanwhile, employment at these agencies has climbed 13% since Obama took office to more than 281,000, while private-sector jobs shrank by 5.6%.

The American Dream under Barack Obama: Work for the government where you can implement more government regulations to stifle the private sector!
