Let’s see … Barack Obama told us that there were 57 states. Excusable, I guess, for a president who wasn’t raised in the United States. Then he tells us that the “corps” in “corpsman” is actually pronounced “corpse.” Pretty good for the Commander in Chief of our armed forces. Now this master of foreign policy has informed us that there is an “English” embassy in Iran. Sorry .. it’s the British Embassy. There is no “English” embassy because there is no “England.” That’s a nickname for the United Kingdom of Great Britain. We’re supposed to have a special relationship with England (using the nickname here) … I wonder how special they’re feeling right now. Pretty much the same as our corpsemen felt, I’m guessing.
