I’ve already explained Obama’s affinity for the word “fair” in his speech yesterday. But his other favorite word .. or I should say “words” .. were middle class. He referred to the middle class 18 times.
This is the defining issue of our time. This is a make or break moment for the middle class, and all those who are fighting to get into the middle class. At stake is whether this will be a country where working people can earn enough to raise a family, build a modest savings, own a home, and secure their retirement.
At the end of it all he actually says that this isn’t about class warfare. That would be like me standing up in front of a crowd and flapping my gums together and then proclaiming at the end that I have a full head of hair. Any government-educated fool could see that I am full of dogsqueeze.
Neal Boortz chronicles his 42 years of talk radio in his book "Maybe I Should Just Shut Up and Go Away" Available on line and printed from Barnes and Noble and Amazon.
