Our friends from Media Matters are at it again … trying to defend the indefensible.  The Obama record.  This time they focused on an appearance by Lynn Cheney on Fox News Sunday and her comment that Obama’s foreign policy successes are virtually non-existent.  After running through the transcript of Cheney’s appearance, Media Matters decided to invoke the Boortz name:

Liz Cheney's attack on Obama as a foreign policy failure isn't even original. Conservative radio host Neal Boortz recently claimed that Obama doesn't have any "marvelous foreign policy successes." But the argument seems to be based on the hope that people forget about Bin Laden. As shown by Cheney's appearance on Fox News Sunday, once someone brings up Bin Laden, the argument becomes laughable.

Wow. Amazing.  Can you believe this?  How pathetic is it that the left has to resort to this absurd “he got bin Laden” routine when challenged on the foreign policy (non)successes of our Dear Ruler.

OK … here’s how the whole bin Laden thing happened.  The military told Obama that they knew where Osama bin Laden was hiding and that they had a plan to take him out, one way or the other.  Obama said “OK.”  That’s it.  When Obama was told the military was poised to either capture or take out Osama bin Laden, Obama told them to “go ahead.”  And THAT’S what we call an incredible foreign policy success?

I guess that makes my wife an orthopedic surgeon.  When my doctor told me I needed knee replacement surgery, my wife said “go ahead and do it.”  Wow!  And all this time I didn’t even know she was a doctor!
