Rectal-cranial inversions of the day By Neal Boortz
These debt talks have brought the wealthy envy pandering to a new level. Just take a look at what our own Vice President Joe Biden had to say about the talks over the weekend:
Joe Biden: “We are never going to solve our debt problem if we only ask those who are struggling in this economy to bear the burden and let the most fortunate among us off the hook … this is not populism, it’s just fairness. Not only is it unfair … but I think it borders on being immoral.”
Wow … “fortunate” … “fairness” … “immoral” … he really hit all the key buzz words didn’t he? Then, Rep. James Clyburn managed to take it even further :
James Clyburn: "You can not possibly square with the word 'fairness' giving $200,000 tax cut to a billionaire at the same time you raise benefits for Medicare on people with fixed income by $6,000 a year. That is immoral. That is un-American.”
Un-American!
