We here at the Boortz show hope that you will remember the millions of Americans who have stepped forward to defend our country and our very way of life. It’s Veteran’s day .. the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month. And never have we had a Veteran’s Day celebrated on 11/11/11. Every one of you knows a veteran. Call them or visit them today and say thanks.
One more thing … the situation our veterans face finding a job is shameful. The unemployment rate among veterans is double the national average. These are dedicated people who have served in difficult circumstances … how can we not see that they would make superlative employees? If you’re a businessman and you’re looking to hire … consider a veteran. Maybe you can ask a veteran already in your employ if they have a friend who served that they might recommend to you.
Happy Veteran’s Day … and Thank you so much.
