Barack Obama is on another (save my) jobs tour. The administration says that this is not a campaign trip. Horsesqueeze. Of course he’s going to say it’s not a campaign trip ... he doesn’t want his campaign to have to pay for it. Incumbent presidents, whether Republican or Democrat, will make campaign trips and say they’re not making campaign trips. Just spare us the BS and get on with it already.
Obama is driving around the country to encourage class warfare. It is the ONLY campaign strategy he has. He will push his jobs bill, which will now be broken down into pieces (more on that in a minute). He will also be embracing the Occupy Wall Street useful idiots. Obama dogwasher Josh Earnest says, “The president will continue to acknowledge the frustration that he himself shares about the need for Washington to do more to support our economic recovery and to ensure that the interest of the 99 percent of Americans is well-represented.”
The interests of the 99% is already well-represented … at the polls in 2012. Unfortunately for many of them, we can safely assume that they put this hack in the White House to begin with. So how do you explain that?
Chief dogwasher Jay Carney says, Obama has already shown “an understanding of the frustration that the demonstrations manifest and represent,” adding, “We do not believe that there is a broad consensus among the American public that we need to roll back Wall Street reforms.” You mean the Wall Street reforms that the big corporations were asking for and which essentially institutionalized too big to fail? A study conducted by Bloomberg Government found that after Congress passed this Dodd-Frank monstrosity, banks deemed “too big to fail” are expected to get even bigger, stating “the largest banks have grown larger since the financial crisis, and the number of ‘too big to fail banks’ will increase by 40 percent over the next 15 years.”
One other thing to point out on this Occupy movement … China is saying that the Occupy Wall Street crowd brings up issues that are worth considering. Well of course China, our biggest global competitor, would like to see a United States that spreads the wealth and dismantles big corporations!
