The Pew Research Center recently issued a News IQ Survey.  You can take a portion of it for yourself to see how you do.  If you are a regular reader of Nealz Nuze, I am confident that you will do just fine.  But as for the rest of America … you won’t be surprised to find out that the average score was just 60%.  To be quite honest, that is a little higher than I would expect, but this is an internet poll and you have the ability to Google for answers.  I’d be curious to see how America fares if asked over the telephone or maybe … coming out of a polling place?  I’ll never forget this video: How Obama Got Elected.  These brilliant thinkers have the same power as you do in a voting booth.  The only way that you will be able to do anything about their incompetence is to counter it with more knowledgeable Americans rising up from the sidelines and entering the game.

While I’m at it … let’s piss off some proggies.  If you had to guess which political party did better on this Pew quiz, which would you guess?  If you guessed Republicans then you are exactly right.  Pew explains …

Republicans generally outperformed Democrats on the current quiz. On 13 out of the 19 questions, Republicans score significantly higher than Democrats and there are no questions on which Democrats did better than Republicans.

Questions on current politics and on geography show particularly wide differences. For example, Republicans are 19 points more likely than Democrats to know that the Republican Party has a majority in just the House of Representatives, and 14 points more likely to know that John Boehner is the speaker of the House. On international questions, Republicans are much more likely to be able to identify Israel on a map (67% vs. 51%), and more likely to know that Greece is the European country experiencing debt problems (71% vs. 54%). Additionally, more Republicans than Democrats could locate Brazil on a map (84% vs. 73%).

A country of fools is exactly what Obama and the Democrats are banking on for the November election.  Remember the research of Cornell University’s David Dunning:  Incompetent people are inherently unable to judge the competence of other people, or the quality of those people's ideas.

Government schools are breading generations of incompetent people, and the consequence is … Barack Obama.
