One of Obama’s chief propagandists, David Axelrod, might want to figure out which team he’s playing for.
For those of you who don’t like to watch videos, he says: “The choice in this election is between an economy that produces a growing middle class and that gives people a chance to get ahead, and their kids a chance to get ahead, and an economy that continues down the road we’re on.”
Well ... he sure got that one right! The “road we’re on”? Do you mean the road of $1 trillion dollar stimulus plans that don’t work, doubling our national debt in four years, and a government takeover of 1/16th of the economy? That road? The road to more government regulation, demonization of the private sector and a spectacular growth of government? That road?
Duhhh. The road that we are on will only enslave more Americans by either making them more dependent on government or trapping the taxpayers with burdensome debt. Despite what the Obama regime may preach, more government does not equal more prosperity and a growing middle class. The only way to grow the middle class is to grow the size of the economic pie. Barack Obama doesn’t know how to do this any more than I know how to grow hair. His miserable recovery has our economy growing at about 2.4%. That’s nothing to brag about … unless you are part of the Obama propaganda machine. For example, tax cheat Timothy Geithner. He went on Meet the Press over the weekend and proclaimed that Obama’s handling of the economy should be heralded as a success story. He says, “This president's policies were extremely successful. If you measure what we did relative to the record of the United States in past crises and the record of other countries, history will judge what he did as remarkably effective crisis management at a deeply dark time for the world economy.”

Something tells me that members of the Obama regime do not have copies of the Wall Street Journal delivered to their doorsteps each morning. They must also be incapable of using Google. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to prove that Tim Geithner is feeding you a line of horsesqueeze. Here are just a few goodies for you to consider …
The Worst Economic Recovery in History (Wall Street Journal)
The Worst Economic Recovery Since The Great Depression (The Heartland Institute)
Ronald Reagan’s Recovery Versus Barack Obamas (by James Pethokoukis)
These clowns said that we just had to pass their big-government policies in order to ensure that unemployment did not rise above 8%. Over three years later, we have yet to see unemployment be BELOW 8%, and now we have the price tag to go with it.
Neal Boortz chronicles his 42 years of talk radio in his book "Maybe I Should Just Shut Up and Go Away" Available on line and printed from Barnes and Noble and Amazon.
