Ruffling Feathers Over Chick-Fil-A

By Neal Boortz

My ranting the other day about Chick-fil-a and its stance on gay marriage – the same stance Dear Ruler held before he “evolved” – actually got people upset on all sides of the issue.  I love it!  But there is one truth that has prevailed for many years: Christians are the most sensitive group out there who send me, by far, the most hate mail.  So here, for you amusement, are some pearls of wisdom from my dear listeners.

From Rev Kort Greene:
Hey Neal,
Are you a "HOMOSEXUAL?" If not you may as well be. The Bible says if you support "SIN" you're as bad as the sinner, amen.
God bless

From Dean:
"Born that Way" Not OK!
Lots of people are "born" with all types of behavioral aberrations, but they keep them in check for the good of society and the potential victims if they were to act on them.
I don't care if two guys wanna get it on. They are adults. But they do not deserve "rights" or privileges because of the aberrations they were born with.
I am not interested in my daughter, or myself for that matter, being exposed to someone that flaunts their aberrations while serving us at a restaurant.
It might not be the right thing to do to hop in bed with some of those flat bellies you and I covet, so we withhold ourselves for the greater good.

From garrett mccoy:
Neal, homosexuality is a choice. In some cases, homosexuals had their choice made for them by the sins of their ancestors(Exodus 34:6,7). We were created in Gods image(Genesis 1:27). God called homosexuality an abomination and stictly fobade it(Leveticus 18:22). However, all sin leads to death. So, it is not above stealing or lying, etc..God begs us to allow His Holy Spirit to give us the knowledge and guidance to overcome all sin. In essence Neal, your partially right. Its not a choice if you dont know any better but the Holy Spirit works with everyone in due time so all have the opportunity to live a God like life and be saved when He returns. I love how God answers what man cannot!
Garrett, my man!  Do you have one of those bumper stickers on your car that reads “The Bible said it, I believe it, that settles it.”?  Got some rough news for you Garrett.  The Bible was written by men.

From George:
Boortz, im one of your gay conservative listeners. Your paranoid rants over this Chick Fil A controversy are childish. There may be a few gay folk that want to boycott ChickFilA but I think the majority of gay people like me don't care and think Chik Fil A has the right to do what they want and the gay folk can do all the boycotting they want in a free country. It is not the fictional "gay community"  or the "gay mafia" you love to speak of. I am part of the gay community. After listening to you for 16 years, I thought you were a friend, but when you started to make fun of the way "gay people speak," last week it was apparent that it goes deeper than the ChickFilA subject with you. You may say its not ALL the gay people but you punched ALL gay people in the gut with your stereotyping gay speech patterns.  I felt the same way I would feel as if you called Royal the N word.
Hey George … Bite me.  No, wait.  Forget I said that.

From ron duncan:
Still wishing you could explain your hostility toward those who mention being "born again" or anyone claiming to have religeous thoughts.
Hate to cloud your happy landing, but your final looks shaky.

Before we move on, let me remind my listeners and readers of a fact borne of exhaustive research about these people who get so upset about homosexuality.  The more you are afraid of or repulsed by homosexuals, the more likely it is that you are suppressing your own homosexual feelings.  Scream all you want, but facts is facts.  You and I both know what’s in your mind … deny all you want.

As for the gay aaaaaaaacitivists who are making a bid deal about Dan Cathy’s defense of traditional marriage … you’re needlessly squandering a good bit of the good will you’ve built up over the years.  Soon you’re gonna have to ask yourself if it was worth it.
