And some random thoughts.

Before I head off for a two-week vacation ….

Did Bob Costas really refer to a black European Olympics medalist as an “African-American?”  What kind of mindless politically correct stupidity is that?

And while we’re on the subject, if an “African-American” who is actually from the United States wins a medal, how do the Olympics officials decide which African country gets to share the credit for that medal?  Just wondering.

Still more … if an African-American wins a gold medal, what national anthem do they play?  Have they created some kind of medly?

Will spend next week in Southern California.  A wonderful state to visit – a horrible state in which to do business or in which to live and attempt to become successful, unless you’re a celebutard, that is.

Sometime next week I’m going to drive through the streets of the Southern California neighborhood I used to live in.  I’m sure everything is going to look

smaller.  Always does.  Everything except me.

London tourism is suffering during the Olympics.  Hmmmmm.  Maybe Bill Campbell has been over there helping them after all!

Gay rights aaaaaaaacitivists are planning a “kiss-in” at Chick-fil-a.  Super!  Let’s see if this crowd can behave as well as the supportive crowd yesterday.  Oh .. and the absolute WORSE thing you can do to the kiss-in demonstrators, then thing they would hate the most, is to ignore them.
