The Obama propaganda team has America – or at least the part of America they are pandering to – pretty well figured out.  I give them kudos for this one.  They’ve recognized something that I’ve been telling you for ages, and that is that most Americans get their “news” from Entertainment Tonight and People Magazine.  This is where many Americans focus their energy, and so this is exactly where the Obama propaganda team is focusing its energy.  Brilliant.

Those in the Obama press corps or political news circles have noticed that Dear Ruler has been less inclined to take their questions and more open to media such as ESPN, Entertainment Tonight, FM radio stations and People Magazine.  When asked about this, Obama propaganda team spokeswoman Jen Psaki says that people get their news in many different ways.  “We’re reaching an audience that may not be paying attention to the day-to-day political back and forth.”

One of Obama’s chief propagandists, Stephanie Cutter, echoed a similar sentiment.  When asked if those types of interviews are more important to the campaign than the national news media, Cutter says, “Not more important, but equally important, and that is where a lot of Americans get their news.  And I think the president is going to continue doing that.”

Obama is pandering to the low-information voter.  Simple as that.
