In case you were not aware, any mention of Obama’s move to remove work requirements from welfare is raaaacist. Got it? No, seriously. That assertion was made by not one but two people over the last few days.
First we have Maryland Governor Martin O’Malley. This libtard says that Romney and Ryan will be sending “not-so-subtly coded message” to white voters. One example, according to him, is a Mitt Romney ad focusing on Obama’s removal of the work requirement for welfare. He says, "When you have a party that says coded things, that makes totally false ads up, falsely saying the president is trying to undo welfare reform, I think you're going to see a lot of heavily and not-so-subtly coded messages from the Romney-Ryan campaign.”
The other person to tote this similar argument is raging moonbat Chris Matthews. He says, "When you start talking about work requirements, you know what game you're playing and everybody knows what game you're playing. It's a race card. "
Two things … Obama removing work requirements for welfare is a fact. Under Obama’s new rules keeping a journal – or keeping a diary, if you will – can be classified as “work” that will make you eligible for welfare benefits. Obama didn’t like the law when it was passed, so, as our “ruler”, he changed it. The Legislative Branch be dammed. It isn’t some fake, made up story on the part of Romney or the Republicans, as Martin O’Malley suggests. Also, it’s these so called progressives who are making the assumption here that people on welfare are black and therefore it is an issue of race. I’ll dare say that plenty of white folks collect welfare too!
A few things to remember here:
1 Obama has no record of achievement to run on. The campaign must be about demonizing his opponent.
2 The ObamaMedia has a lot invested in this guy. They failed to properly vet him in 2008 because they were so tired of Bush and so in love with the narrative of America’s first black president.
3 Black support for Obama is waning. Not by much, but turnout will be the key in this election … and you go out there and hammer for votes where you can find them. The proggies seem to think that screaming “racism” will accomplish that.
4 Liberals still seem to think that the old “racism” ploy still works. They haven’t figured out that their overuse of the word has rendered it completely and absolutely impotent. Even blacks are getting a bit weary of this ploy.
As for the Democrat Convention next week … put yourself in their shoes. Just what would YOU do to highlight the accomplishments of Ruler Obama? How would YOU convince people that this frightening hack could be better for the country than Mitt Romney?
