Paul Ryan was exactly right about something.  In his speech the other night to the RNC, he made the following observation about Dear Ruler:

“President Obama was asked not long ago to reflect on any mistakes he might have made. He said, well, “I haven’t communicated enough.” He said his job is to “tell a story to the American people” – as if that’s the whole problem here? He needs to talk more, and we need to be better listeners?”

The day after Paul Ryan made this observation in front of America, we get this report of an Obama interview with Time Magazine.

“The president says he also wants to do a better job of explaining to the public how his policies will help the economy grow. Obama claims he didn’t do a good enough job selling Americans on the stimulus plan and the auto company bailout because he was so focused on acting to fix the economy.”

Make no mistake … Obama has the salesman thing down cold.  He doesn’t need to work on his sales pitch; that managed to con millions of Americans into putting him in the White House!  The fact that his policies aren’t working is bad enough, but it’s frightening to think that this man truly believes his biggest weakness is his sales pitch.
