It’s rare that I give Barack Obama credit because, quite frankly, he’s rarely deserving of any.  This man is engaged in destroying the country that I love, and it’s hard to get passed that.  But be that as it may …

I agree with Barack Obama when he says that the number one threat to our national security is our economy.  Obama said in a recent interview, “The most important thing we can do for national security, though, is to get our economy on track.” But that’s about where our agreement ends.

Because Dear Ruler then goes on to imply that raising taxes on the rich is a fundamental piece that is necessary to getting our economy back on track.  Are you kidding me?  If that’s the case then this would make Republicans the biggest threat to national security, since they are the ones “holding the middle class hostage” (as Princess Pelosi claims) in their efforts to maintain tax rates for the rich.

If the biggest threat to our national security is our economy, then Barack Obama himself should be security threat #1 because he has overseen the worst economic recovery in history and is poised to oversee one of the biggest tax increases in US history (ObamaCare) along with record spending levels.  All of this without tackling the real economic threat in this nation which is entitlements.
