I’ve told you many times that Valerie Jarrett, Obama’s chief advisor said that Obama would be “ready to rule from day one.” As usual, I’ve received some challenges on this … asking for proof. OK .. here you go.
It was the weekend after the election in 2008. Valerie Jarrett was the co-chair of Obama’s transition team. She was being interviewed on NBC. He asked about the process of transition, and Jarrett responded "It is important that President-elect Obama is prepared to really take power and be ready to rule day one."
Ready to RULE .. not ready to lead. That, though, fits perfectly well with Obama’s role as a Marxist revolutionary. Despots don’t lead. And if you don’t believe that Obama has a lot of despot in him you need to review the events of the past week.
