Do you think that Democrats genuinely buy the bullsquirt they spout about the benefits of ObamaCare? Or do you think that they truly know what the outcome will be, but are simply engaged in a false propaganda campaign?
It is propaganda promises like this one from none other than Princess “we have to pass the bill to find out what’s in it” Pelosi. She says that because of ObamaCare, “everybody will have lower rates, better quality care and better access."
What a load of Bolshoi.
Does Princess Pelosi mean better quality and access like in Great Britain? A report issued just the other day shows that under Britain’s infamous government health system, millions of Britons are living with chronic pain. Why? Because they are being “sidelined” by the National Health Service. The report shows that they are often unable to gain access to specialists and left to their own devices with little support. How’s THAT for better quality and better access, Princess Pelosi?
There are countless stories along those lines, from a myriad of government-run health systems, which demonstrate that more government does not equate to better quality and better access. In fact, it is exactly the opposite!
So far, ObamaCare has failed to lower rates, as the cost of health insurance premiums has continued to rise. Add 20 new tax hikes into the mix … that affects not only your personal income but businesses that aren’t just going to take the hit; they are going to pass along the costs in terms of … increased prices!
By the way, another falsehood that the left loves to push is that if you like your employer provided health insurance, you will be able to keep it. The Cato Institute will explain why this is also a load of horsesqueeze.
I’m old enough to pretty much escape this thing, but for those younger voters I talked about earlier who aren’t paying attention … THEY are the ones who are really going to get screwed. And they won’t even see it coming.
