What did the Supreme Court rule on Obamacare? Duhh .. Duhh

How are we expected to save this Republic when we let uninformed ignoranuses and moochers into voting booths?

Let’s start with the uninformed ignoranuses. Pew Research Center has done some polling on the public’s understanding of the ObamaCare ruling. They discovered that almost half of Americans (45%) had no clue what the court did or incorrectly identified the outcome of the ObamaCare decision. Now let’s talk specifically about younger voters. These are the voters who showed up in record numbers in 2008, voting for hope and change because it was, like, the cool thing to do. Only 37% of Americans under age 30 could tell you that the Supreme Court upheld most of the provisions in ObamaCare. As for the other 63% … if they followed politics as much as they did their friends’ Facebook pages, the outcome would be much different. Less than a quarter of people under 30 say that they were closely monitoring the ObamaCare Supreme Court decision. That’s almost 20 points lower than any other age group. Yet sadly, ObamaCare will likely make the greatest impact upon young people’s lives! They are the ones who will have to really suffer under this system. Yet they could care less. Amazing.

Now let’s get to the moochers. Yesterday I pointed out that in the recent Mexican election, the party that eventually won is being accused of handing out pre-paid gift cards to voters. They were literally trying to buy the vote. But to be honest, how is that any different than what we do in this country with EBT cards or SNAP or whatever politically correct term we want to call it nowadays? Heck, the Obama administration is promoting the idea of throwing SNAP parties, to educate more people into signing up. Now, one out of every seven Americans is on food stamps. So the number of people reliant on the government continues to swell and then an election rolls around. A Democrat like Barack Obama or some other hack stands up there and says, “If you elect the Republicans, they will take away your food stamp cards!” And so the moochers go out and vote for the guy who will continue to provide the American version of the prepaid gift card. In a way, what we are doing here in America is almost worse than in Mexico because here, that money for those EBT cards is coming from the taxpayers!
