First off … do any of you doubt that our esteemed Ruler, Barack Obama, absolutely cowers in the presence of Russian President Vladimir Putin?  As the song says, Putin is the windshield -- Obama is the bug.  Putin is the Louisville Slugger -- Obama is the ball.  Every time they get together Putin has a nice little pre-game fungo session with our president … sending him sailing into the outfield while third-world dictators shag.

Monday of this week Putin said that the West – and by this he means America – is in decline as the American economy recedes.  It’s tempting, of course, to disregard these comments from a Russian leader.  After all, for most of our lives we’ve been having either Soviet or Russian leaders talk about the decline of the west.  Well .. this time they may have a point.

There is no doubt that our economy is in decline.  We’ve gone through a nasty recession, but so did the other developed countries.  But we’ve been through recessions before – generally followed by strong recoveries.  Well, not this time.  This time our recovery is the weakest since World War II.  You know the picture on joblessness … rates remain high.  But did you know that the number of American companies on the Global 500 list --- a list of businesses in terms of revenue generated – is declining?  Yup … there’s that word again.  Decline.

The American system of medical care -- long plagued by government actions and regulations and prevented the effective delivery of health care services – is on the verge of a complete takeover by government.  If people like renewing their driver’s licenses now – they’re going to absolutely LOVE going to the doctor to get an annual checkup – something guaranteed under ObamaCare, by the way.  Over 80% of doctors in practice in this country have expressed thoughts about quitting because of ObamaCare.  There is NO DOUBT that the quality of medical care in this country will decline, and decline sharply; but the Democrats are playing right into the idea that people have a right to health care, and it creates a huge dependency that can be exploited at election time.  So all is cool. 

There are probably better ways to phrase this, but the American people are on a decline as well.  We just went through a month where more people were placed on disability than were placed in jobs.  Americans are becoming more and more comfortable with the idea of being simple government dependents.  If the politicians are so damned determined to take care of them, well then why not just sit back and enjoy the ride?  Why work when you can stay at home and get very nearly the same income every month in the form of your disability check – and be able to park in handicapped spots as well!  All you have to do is keep your Democrat caretakers in office and the free ride won’t be threatened. 

American military power?  You’re kidding, right?  Check it out sometime and see how much American military strength has been weakened under Obama.  Obama, you see, believes that America has used it’s military as a tool to exploit people living in the so-called third world in Africa and elsewhere … and he dedicated himself to weakening the military he saw as an instrument of oppression.  The American military in decline.

Oh .. and now pigs can fly commercial.
