I heard your statements today that anyone who doesn’t agree with your right-wing philosophy is ignorant and deluded. You have offended me, sir. I’m a Southern man, born with the same privileges as you. I have a BA from Vanderbilt and an MA from Stanford. I worked until I was 70 and then retired to a modest but comfortable life with my wife of 50 years here in Atlanta. I am an independent voter but I have never voted for a Republican since, in my adult life, the Republican Party has pandered to the worst elements of human nature—greed, fear, ignorance, superstition and meanspiritedness toward those less fortunate than themselves.
My wife listens to you because you make her angry; I don’t, for the same reason. But we both look forward to the day when you and your ilk will be repudiated and expunged from the American character and experience. I wish you a speedy retirement, sir. Go to your tax-free island and count your money. This Southern man, for one, “don’t need you around anyhow.”
Don’t you just love it? An “independent voter” who has “never voted for a Republican” and who believes that those who succeed only do so because they were lucky. Oh .. and who wants me “expunged.” Typical Obama voter.
