The Obama propaganda team has stooped to a new level … and that’s saying something. The issue is over Obama’s comments about building a business. You’ve heard me railing for the entire week now about his comments last Friday in Roanoke, "If you’ve got a business -- you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen." That’s not my paraphrasing, those words are straight from the SCOAMF’s mouth.
So in a speech following Obummer’s asinine comment, Mitt Romney gets up to the podium, quotes Obama directly, and then begins his own retort (which was not nearly as brilliant as mine, by the way). Then the Obama administration takes Mitt Romney’s response to Obama and makes an ad out of it. You can watch the ad if you click here. But here’s the gist ……..
The Obama propaganda ad claims that Mitt Romney is “launching a false attack” on Dear Ruler. Then the ad cuts to Mitt Romney reading Obama’s quote, "If you’ve got a business -- you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen,” which as we know is exactly what Barack Obama said. However, the Obama propaganda ad then states, "The only problem? That's not what he said." The ad then goes on show Barack Obama saying, "If you were successful, somebody along the line gave you some help. There was a great teacher somewhere in your life." This really is very clever. You play Romney quoting Obama .. then you say “The only problem? That’s not what he said” followed by the clip of Obama talking about teachers. Now --- to the typical American who might be talked into voting for Obama, this absolutely makes it seem that Romney misquoted Obama. The hope here is at that point in the ad the low-information voters will turn from the screen, look at their friends or family, and say “Can you believe that? Can you believe how Mitt Romney misquoted our president?” To avoid being so dishonest that even an Obama supporter would spot it, the ad later plays the clip of Obama saying just what Romney said he said – and what those of us who don’t rely solely on CBS, ABC, NBC or The New York Times for our news, know he said – together with the reference to “roads and bridges.” By that time the Obama campaign hoped people had stopped paying attention
Now … let’s play a little attention to the “roads and bridges” part of Obama’s quote. The ObamaMedia and assorted sycophants want us to believe that when Obama said “you didn’t build that” he was referring to the roads and bridges. Remember, now, Obama is, if you believe the ObamaMedia, simply the smartest man ever to occupy the Oval Office (and “occupy” would be the right word here). Being as brilliant as he is, Obama certainly knows that “roads and bridges” would be a “those” or a “them”, but not a “that”. Your business, however, would be a “that”. So when Obama said “you didn’t build that” he could not have been referring to roads and bridges. He would have said “You didn’t build THOSE.” He said “that”, and the only thing he could have been referring to was your business.
And that, by God, settles it.
How mindlessly stupid does the Obama propaganda team believe the American people to be? Oh … wait. The American people put him into the White House … so maybe the Obama propaganda team has something going for it there.
By the way, this idea of trying to change history reminds me … so just let me insert this thought here …
Do you remember a few months ago when the Obama administration was caught changing the biographies of former presidents on the White House website? They would go in and add something that had to do with Barack Obama. For instance, the bio for Ronald Reagan read: "In a June 28, 1985, speech, Reagan called for a fairer tax code, one where a multimillionaire did not have a lower tax rate than his secretary. Today, President Obama is calling for the same with the Buffett Rule." There is no telling where this administration and the propaganda campaign will take us next. What will disappear from Obama’s history? Dodd-Frank? ObamaCare? What will end up credited to Barack Obama .. killing Osama bin Laden? Oh wait .. they’ve already claimed that one.
Neal Boortz chronicles his 42 years of talk radio in his book "Maybe I Should Just Shut Up and Go Away" Available on line and printed from Barnes and Noble and Amazon.
