The interruption incident

Pres. Obama interrupted
Pres. Obama Speech interrupted in the Rose Garden by Neil Munro from the Daily Caller

By Neal Boortz

During Dear Ruler’s announcement on Friday, something happened that has the proggie race pimps in a frenzy.  While making his announcement, the Washington correspondent for The Daily Caller, Neil Munro, asked Obama a question during Obama’s Rose Garden address.  To which Obama replied, "Excuse me, sir. It's not time for questions, sir.  Not while I'm speaking."

This occurrence has the proggies race-pimp’s thongs in a wad.  Here’s not one but four examples of proggies saying that Obama was interrupted … because he’s black!

  • MSNBC's Touré says, "This disrespect of this human being cannot be disconnected from the fact that he’s black.”  When asked to elaborate, he explains, “There is a basic, lesser humanity generally ascribed to black people, even one this alpha, this much in power, this much in control.”
  • Politico reporter Joe Williams told MSNBC: “It’s very, very difficult to place race outside of this context. Mostly because a lot of the interruptions, a lot of the disrespect has been unprecedented.  We haven’t seen anything like this before. A lot of people will suggest it’s because the Republican party has moved so far to the right that they’re willing to do things that were unthinkable. But certainly in my experience, it’s hard to divorce that because this president doesn’t look like the others.”
  • Democrat strategist Julian Epstein (also on MSNBC): “This is just so unprecedented and outrageous, that you have to ask the question, would the right-wing be doing this if we had a white president there?”
  • In a discussion on MSNBC, Maryland Democrat Rep. Elijah Cummings was asked about the incident:  “I think it’s a vert important question because I think this is the first African-American president. We’ve never had a white president been told by the opposing party to shut up in the middle of a major address to the Congress. We’ve never had a president like this heckled so disrespectfully. We’ve never had this otherness afforded to any other president and I think the right wing has some explaining to do because to me it’s patently obvious.”

Never has a president been heckled so disrespectfully, eh?  Apparently Elijah Cummings isn’t aware of the antics of a reporter by the name of Sam Donaldson.  His favorite target: President Ronald Reagan.  Now unless Obama’s team has rewritten the history books on the Reagan presidency as well, I don’t believe that he was black.  So what was the reasoning then versus now?  However, Sam Donaldson himself says that the incident involving Barack Obama is based on his race.  In an email he writes, “Many on the political right believe this president ought not to be there — they oppose him not for his polices and political view but for who he is, an African American!”

As this campaign continues we’re going to see more of this.  The worse things look for Obama the more the left is going to start tossing the race card out there.  After all, what do they have left?
