If you didn’t listen to the program yesterday, you missed out on a lot of fun.  For months I’ve been harping on these regulations requiring the installation of permanent pool spatulas for the handicapped.  Now we have a new set of regulations to play with that will affect golf courses, gyms, amusement parks, shooting ranges and more.  The regulations even include miniature horses as acceptable guide animals!  In place of dogs, you may choose to use a miniature horse if you are allergic or “for those whose religious beliefs preclude the use of dogs.”  What religious beliefs might that be?  Muslims!

Anyway, I already had my feathers ruffled about this issue … and then Jim called.  Jim was an attorney who worked under the Bush administration writing rules for the ADA.  Jim is also handicapped, and he challenged me on my comments about these ADA rules.  If you want to hear Jim’s call in its entirety (it’s almost 14 minutes long), then be sure to sign up for the Boortz Blast, which goes out today.  But here’s a short snippet of the call … we call that a tease.  Trust me, you’ll wanna hear the whole thing.
