On a national level, Mitt Romney is rising in the polls.  Pundits much more knowledgeable than yours truly may be able to explain why this is.  In my humble opinion, it is because Americans are starting to wake up and realize that Mitt Romney is the best candidate with a chance to beat Barack Obama.  But that’s not saying a lot.  Right now, all of the candidates, including Romney, are being trounced by Obama.  This women’s contraceptive rights trap that the Republicans fell right into isn’t helping.  But November is a long way off and government-educated minds … even those that are paying attention … have a short attention span.  With that being said, at this point I just don’t see how any Republican, including Romney, can take down the ObamaMedia machine.

Advice to the Republicans: Steer clear of the Democrat traps.  Keep your eye on the prize and the prize is getting rid of the Marxist in the White House.  This contraception boondoggle is the only stumble you can afford, if it hasn’t permanently wounded you already.  This may be the only time when the ignorance and flightiness of our American electorate may work to your advantage.  From here on out, focus on the economy and the economic disaster currently occupying the White House.

Remember what Thomas Sowell wrote, “The election next November will not be just another election, and the stakes add up to far more than the sum of the individual issues. Moreover, if reelected and facing no future election, whatever political constraints may have limited how far Obama would push his radical agenda will be gone.”
