Mitt Romney isn’t the real problem for conservatives.

The problem is the apocalyptic state of our nation.  The size of our federal government has grown so large, that the generations to come will be unable to enjoy the freedoms and opportunities afforded to their parents and grandparents.  At this historic time, where the scales have tipped in favor of the moochers, we have a Marxist in the White House whose fundamental transformation includes bigger government, more dependence on government, a command economy, forced increases in gasoline prices, attacks on individualism,  and wealth seizure and redistribution.  On top of that, this Marxist has been anointed by the self-indulgent elite media as “sort of a God,” taking a “step down” to the presidency.

The problem is that there is no conservative on the planet capable of measuring up to all of this.  The power of the ObamaMedia makes it impossible to match up any mere mortal against the Holier-than-thou Barack Obama.  In other words, Mitt Romney could be the “perfect” conservative, but that matters not when Judgment Day comes at the hands of the ObamaMedia.

This is why conservatives are struggling.  It would literally take divine intervention for there to be a candidate capable of beating Barack Obama and saving this Republic .. at least, that is how it feels.

If those two goals are important to you, then you better start fighting and you better not half-ass it.  You better recognize, quick, that your guy in the ring with Obama is going to be Mitt Romney.  Anybody who has trained for a fight knows that you want to build up your guy’s strengths and exploit your opponents weaknesses.  The sooner you start focusing on Romney’s strengths, the sooner you can start to chip away at Barack Obama’s preordained mantle as the man who destroyed the country that you loved.
