Aren’t familiar with that word?  Google it.  You will find Barney Frank’s picture right next to the definition.  Here’s why.  On ABC's "This Week" with George Stephanopoulos, Barney Frank gets agitated that the Republicans want to talk about the economy.  But he reluctantly gives in and this is what he has to say.

"And while I would prefer to answer your questions, I do have to note that this Republican talking point, that women have lost jobs, the job losses came about because of the terrible recession that non-regulation in the economy brought about under George Bush. We have been gaining jobs since then. And it's true, by the way, that jobs for women have lagged.”

“Non-regulation in the economy brought about under George Bush.”  Did Barney really say this with a straight face?   It was the housing bubble fueled by the spoiled mortgages of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac that led to our economic collapse in 2007.  Not once but three times, George W. Bush and Republicans in Congress tried to reform Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac during his administration.  And there was one giant slobbering roadblock is their way … Barney Frank!  The non-regulation of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac is due to the fact that Barney Frank wouldn’t stand for it, perhaps in order to protect his boyfriend who was making the big bucks at Fannie Mae at the time.  These Democrats have a very clever imagination, trying everything they can to re-write history so as to make it all George Bush’s fault.
