How absurd is this?

You’ve certainly heard me ranting about the handicap cranes that are now required by our wonderful government at all swimming pools that can be accessed by the public.  The tiny little hot tup at my Atlanta home has one of these cranes sitting next to it --- and it’s durned near larger than the tub.  Portable handicap cranes just aren’t good enough.  Obama’s Justice Department decided they have to be permanently installed.  By the way, the cranes at both our swimming pool and spa have never been used, nor was the portable lift before the permanent ones installed on Obama’s instructions.

Well now ... get this.  I’m told by a listener that the swimming pool at a resort hotel they were staying at for their vacation had to be be closed.  Closed to everyone.  Shut down.  Why?  Because the handicap crane was broken.  The reasoning, I guess, is if a handicapped person can’t get into the pool, NOBODY can get into the pool.

When in the hell are we going to start bringing government out of control in this country?
