I guess if we had to label the “ObamaMedia distraction of the week”, it would be this ridiculous outcry over Donald Trump and his views on Obama’s birth certificate and how this reflects on Mitt Romney. 

The Donald is a birther.  This, in the eyes of the media and proggies, makes him an irrational; rich SOB who happens to be supporting Mitt Romney.  The trouble here is that there are many irrational, rich SOBs supporting Barack Obama (Bill Maher, for starters), and the ObamaMedia doesn’t seem to think twice about that.  What else would you expect from the same people who anointed Obama as the Chosen One and will do anything to make sure he is re-elected?

The easiest thing for Mitt Romney to do would be to distance himself from The Donald in any official campaign capacity.  Mitt Romney is explicit in saying that he, himself, is not a birther, but that doesn’t seem to be enough for the ObamaMedia.

Having said this … I would still like to know whether or not Obama applied for and received a scholarship to Occidental College as a foreign student.  We do know that Obama has referred to himself as a foreigner when it was advantageous for him to do so … so that scholarship application would be interesting to review.
