Can Freedom Win Today? Yes! But It Won't Be Easy

I don’t mean to pick on Belinda .. but this morning she presented us with a perfect example of what needs to be done to win this day for liberty and America.  Belinda (@WSBelinda) tweeted a picture of her in line this morning with another voter.  That voter was wearing an Obama stocking cap.  So there you have it.  Belinda’s vote was completely neutered by the woman in front of her in line.  Now if Belinda had found a friend or neighbor – and Belinda has TONS of friends – who otherwise would not have been likely to vote, and if Belinda had taken that person to the polls with her, it would have resulted in a one net vote advantage for Romney.

At this point, folks, that’s what it will take.  What is being asked of you today is one hell of a lot less than what was asked of the Revolutionary War patriots who walked barefoot across icy ground to fight for liberty.  Just the same – voting will be too much of a hassle for people who will surely find the time to bitch and moan tomorrow if things turn out badly.  And just as the patriots of the Revolutionary War recruited neighbors to join them, you need to recruit clear-thinking friends and neighbors to join you today at the polls.  If you sit on your hands today you are, in effect, voting for the end of America as you know her.  Obama, as I said, is dedicated to weakening America.  He believes that a strong America is a danger to the world.  If you sit at home --- if you don’t gather at least one other person on your way to the polls --- you are aiding and abetting his effort to destroy our country.

Your only legitimate response is to get to the polls today and hope that people like you outnumber the moochers.  But the odds are stacked against you.  That’s the sad reality that has me worried that tomorrow will be a day arranging for financial planners rather than popping champagne bottles (if I drank).
