This story came down the chutes a bit late for me to write much for the Nuze – but trust me, if this turns out to be true there will be quite the little Obama-storm.

Could there be a greater insult Obama could deliver to our military?  Seriously?  Is he really thinking of making John Kerry the Secretary of Defense?

What does Kerry think about our men and women in uniform?  Well, do you remember this statement back in 2006 while Kerry was campaigning for the Democrat running for Governor of California:

“You know, education, if you make the most of it, if you study hard and you do your homework, and you make an effort to be smart, uh, you, you can do well. If you don’t, you get stuck in Iraq.”

Yeah!  That’s it!  All those men and women serving in Iraq are uneducated dolts who didn’t make an effort to be smart.  It’s the dumb ones who end up in uniform serving overseas.  And Obama is thinking about making this fool our SecDef?

Want more?  How about Kerry calling our soldiers in VietNam “murderers.”  What about his statement many years ago that our own soldiers present more of a threat to America than does Communism.  This is a man who called American soldiers “terrorists” and said that they terrorize women and children.

Could you believe Obama would make this man Secretary of Defense?  Hell yes he would.  Remember --- Obama considers our military to be very little more than the tool of American colonialism and dominance for decades.  Weakening and demoralizing our military is part and parcel of his “fundamental transformation” of our country.

Don’t know if it’s actually in the cards.  Right now it’s media rumors.  But if this appointment is made expect one helluva firestorm from veterans and Americans who support our military.
