Sometime this morning, Princess Pelosi is supposed to hold a press conference to announce to the world whether or not she will remain as House Minority leader.
If I were a betting man, I would say that she ain’t going anywhere. First of all, we aren’t that lucky. Secondly, the most powerful woman in Congress doesn’t just step down from that position lightly. Democrats will be able to achieve a lot in Washington over the next few years, and there is no way that Pelosi is going to miss out on any of that action.
The truth is, folks, is that Princess Pelosi is a very powerful woman but she is not the most powerful woman in Washington. (That must irk Pelosi!) That prize goes to none other than Valerie “ready to rule” Jarrett – Obama’s senior advisor.
Neal Boortz chronicles his 42 years of talk radio in his book "Maybe I Should Just Shut Up and Go Away" Available on line and printed from Barnes and Noble and Amazon.
