Spinning off of the “Romney Lies” Nuze item … the Obama campaign is using this tax cut issue to highlight the core of their new strategy.  You see, somewhere along the way, Obama’s propagandists decided that they were going to paint Romney as a heinous, “extreme” conservative.  That was the picture they were going to draw for the American public; this was the Romney they were going to define.  And apparently, they thought that his $5 trillion tax cut was the lynch pin in this description.

But the debate really screwed this up.  Again, Democrats can’t wrap their brains around the fact that Romney’s tax plan hasn’t changed … their understanding of Romney’s tax plan is simply incorrect!  Considering this revelation, Team Obama is now changing courses.  Instead of painting Romney as a staunch conservative, they are going to resort to the “flip-flopper” label.  Here’s a prime example of how this is playing out on the campaign trail … Joe Biden told reports:

“You just never know what ... position that Governor Romney is going to come with … I mean, the centerpiece of their economic policy so far has been a tax cut. And last night I, we found out he doesn't have a $5 trillion tax cut … I guess he outsourced that to China or something.”

It’s actually kind of funny to see the liberals writhing over this issue.  Their inability to comprehend how you can lower rates and yet still be revenue neutral highlights their complete incompetence when it comes to economic understanding.
