Just as we were going off the air yesterday, we got a report from the Labor Department indicating that it may have to delay releasing the latest jobs figures on Friday because of the storm.
Something smelled fishy … so the backpedaling immediately began. Now the Department is “working hard to ensure the timely release” of the October jobs report. Yeah, I’m sure they are.
The political implications of this jobs report are obvious, but with Hurricane Sandy wreaking havoc among the epicenter of the ObamaMedia, I doubt the latest jobs numbers will get a lot of coverage no matter which way they go … though you can bet that if the number goes down again, the ObamaMedia will be more inclined to set aside their coverage of the Sandy fallout and mention the good news for their hero who they have fought for so long to get re-elected.
By the way .. do you remember that number that came out last month? Yeah … the unemployment numbers were now below 8%. You do know that later those numbers were revised upward, back over 8%, don’t you? Oh! You don’t! Golly gee! I guess the media just somehow failed to report that. Imagine that!
