It seems things aren’t going all that well for Obama’s auto bailout. You’ll remember that he sold Chrysler to the Italian company Fiat in 2011. Now Fiat has failed to meet its projections, and things aren’t looking so good for it future projections either. So what are they looking to do about? Change the way they do business, and one way to do that is to change where Fiat manufactures its cars. Looks like the auto jobs in America could soon be shipped to Italy or China! From Bloomberg: "To counter the severe slump in European sales, (Fiat CEO Sergio) Marchionne is considering building Chrysler models in Italy, including Jeeps, for export to North America. The Italian government is evaluating tax rebates on export goods to help Fiat. Marchionne may announce details of his plan as soon as Oct. 30, the people said."
