High School Delegate

By Neal Boortz

I notice that Fox & Friends interviewed a high school student who is also a delegate to the Democrat Convention this week.  I didn’t watch … couldn’t bear it.  If I had been interviewing this young know-it-all here are some of the questions I would ask:

  • Explain the difference between a profit and a profit margin.
  • Who earns a higher profit -- Avon or Exxon?
Do you create businesses to hire people or to make money?
  • How much do you have to earn to be in the top 1% of income earners?
  • What percentage of total personal income is earned by the top 1% of income earners?
  • What percentage of total personal income taxes are paid by the top 1%?
  • What is a capital gain?
  • What is the capital gains tax rate?
What is the top income tax rate?
  • Do Mitt Romney and Warren Buffet pay income taxes or capital gains taxes?
  • What will the capital gains tax rate be if Obama wins and implements his tax agenda?
  • Is there a right to vote in a Presidential election?
  • Who controlled the congress when Obama was elected in 2008?
  • What is our current national debt?
  • What was our national debt when Obama took office?

At this point the high school student would be sobbing uncontrollably and I would be the most hated man in America.  Oh well … it’s a living.
