Back to the Democrat Covention .. and let’s dive right in to some mindless idiocy, shall we?  There’s no doubt that being a Democrat delegate to the DNC must be an embarrassment.  Your neighbors see you hauling off to the DNC and they know that you are voting to get your hands in their pockets.  Simple as that.  So it begs the question, who exactly are these people who are delegates voting for Barack Obama?

People like this … we have no name for her, so we’ll call her Democrat Darla.  Interviewed at the DNC, Democrat Darla proclaims that the most important issue to her is “voter freedom.”  That’s all well and good.  Maybe she should have just stopped right there but no, she chose to elaborate.  He’s a rough transcript of what she had to say …

“You can’t take away somebody’s right to vote. That’s our constitutional right to vote, and I feel like the voters are losing part of their freedom.  And so that’s very important to me; it’s like raping somebody when you take away something that’s so American as our right to vote.”

A couple of things …

First of all, I’m not surprised that somebody voting for Barack Obama is ignorant enough not to know that there is no constitutional right to vote in a presidential election.  If Darla has ever even seen the Constitution, then she should take notice of the fact that our “right to vote” is not in there.  There is no such thing.

That leads me to my next point … where do so many Americans like Darla get this idea that we have a right to vote?  The answer is simple: government schools.  Where else?  It’s amazing that government schools have managed to convince people of certain “rights” which do NOT exist .. which are NOT protected by our Constitution – right to vote, healthcare, a job, to unionize, a living wage and other such illusions – but these government schools have completely failed to educate students on the rights that ARE present in our constitution.

And finally, let’s talk about “losing part of our freedom.”  It’s funny that Darla is concerned about losing freedoms when she is attending a convention and voting for a man who is dedicated to the destruction of freedom in our society.  Successful people will only be as free as the moochers will allow them, enabled by their political captors.  True freedom comes at a cost and with it comes responsibility.  Freedom is not collecting government benefits to support a lifestyle you didn’t earn.

Oh and one last observation .. Democrat Darla had a button on her lapel which read “Romney takes from the poor to give to the rich.”  Half of Americans already don’t pay any income taxes.  In terms of taxes, there is nothing to take from these people because they are net tax consumers as it is.  At this point, the only collateral you have is there benefits … money that they did not earn, but was earned by a rich person and redistributed to the poor, poor pitiful poor.
