As of this morning we were still 3000 signatures short of compelling the White House to respond to my FairTax Petition.  Who knows?  Maybe we can get to the 25,000 threshold by tomorrow’s deadline!  Click here to sign!  Oh .. and for those of you who don’t want to sign because the White House might know who you are?  Way to cower! 

Democrat (of course) Congressman Keith Ellison of Michigan has introduced something called “The Balancing Act.”  Basically it’s just raising taxes on the evil rich.  He was interviewed on Fox and on MSNBC yesterday.  Take a look at the difference between the two interviews.

So you think tax increases on the rich will actually help solve our budget problems?  Yeah .. sure.  If you’re not afraid of a little enlightenment on the subject, perhaps you might read this.  Tax cuts on the rich are all about class warfare, not about cutting our deficit or our debt. 

Democrats absolutely rely on projections from the Congressional Budget Office to sell their tax-the-rich plans to the dumb masses.  But are these CBO predictions really EVER accurate?  If you want to know more than pretty much every other person you’ll encounter today, read this from Thomas Sowell.  

It’s National Signing Day.  Bravo Foxtrot Delta.  Unfortunately, there are millions of Americans who will pay more attention to this than pay attention to their own congressional elections.  That’s one of the reasons we are where we are.
