Many people have been asking me if I will continue to write this blog (I prefer calling it Nealz Nuze) and Tweeting (@Talkmaster on Twitter) after retirement.  The answer is … oh HELL yes.

I’ve not run out of things to say here.  I still give a damn about what is happening to our country (though I don’t think the decline is reversible at this point) and there are still absurdities happening every day that I love to point out to people.  The Queen doesn’t want me to bother her incessantly with these things … so that leaves you.  Besides … the lovely and brainy Cristina has agreed to help me with reading assignments along the way … if Erick will permit. 

I’m not retiring because I want to leave this all behind.  Why AM I retiring?  Well .. I can list a few reasons …

1. I can afford to.
2. I will NOT pay Obama’s confiscatory taxes.  By retiring I’m denying him a pant-load of “revenues” for Dear Ruler’s redistributionist schemes.  I’m going Galt. 
3. Having to be in front of a microphone for 3.5 hours a day … plus the minimum three hours of show prep that goes along with this … has simply become too restrictive. 

The Queen and I share a passion for travel.  Just this year we’ll range from Alaska to Antarctica to the Mediterranean to Phantom Ranch to Half Dome to Southeast Asia.  My computer will work in all these locations – even Antarctica – so the blogging and the Tweeting continues, as do daily commentaries on The Mothership, WSB in Atlanta.

So .. YES.  I’ll still be here.  So stick around for the Talkmaster’s schtick.
