… and no, I am not talking about Barack Obama (our “Lord and Savior”). I am talking about the seemingly divine intervention it is going to take at this point to save this nation from imploding. I say “imploding” because the destruction of this nation will absolutely happen from within and it will be at the hands of moochers, enabled by politicians, pushing us to the limit.
Under Barack Obama, we have racked up $1 trillion deficits every single year while he has been in office. This means money that we don’t have that we are still spending. And is there any indication that he means to change this? Nonsense! America’s greatness comes from government spending, remember? According to ObamaLogic: The more spending, the better our country will be.
That leads me to this absurd comment that Dear Ruler supposedly said to John Boehner while negotiating the fiscal cliff deal. According to John Boehner, as reported in the Wall Street Journal, Barack Obama told Boehner, “We don't have a spending problem.”
Really? Is this fool serious? Does Obama really believe that the United States doesn’t have a spending problem? Well, remember that Obama is on record as saying that America’s greatness comes from government spending. So in his eyes it would be perfectly logical to believe that the more government spends the greater America becomes --- and since American greatness can’t be a problem, neither can government spending.
See what happens when you elect an unqualified community organizer to be president?
If Barack Obama can actually look someone dead in the eye and tell them in all sincerity that we do not have a spending problem in this country … then we are in a bigger heap than I imagined. It doesn’t take a rocket surgeon to look at the unprecedented level of spending enjoyed under our Dear Ruler and look at the trajectory of our spending obligations and recognize that we simply and absolutely cannot keep this up. There aren’t enough evil rich people and greedy corporations for him to tax. It’s simply unsustainable. Unless, of course, this is precisely his goal: Set America on a path toward fiscal annihilation that cannot be reversed. It will be done in the name of “fairness” and “justice,” and the people will yell and cheer about how Barack Obama saved us poor Americans from the harsh evils of capitalism and individual responsibility.
It was Ben Franklin who supposedly said something to this effect: “People willing to trade their freedom for temporary security deserve neither and will lose both.”
