Back in 1988, when I was doing this show on WGST radio in Atlanta,  I created the Georgia Cat Chasing Championships.  Just stirrin’ the puddin’ I guess.  What is cat chasing?  Simple.  You send six or so skydivers up in an airplane with one cat.  You toss the cat out, and seconds later the skydivers bail out to chase the cat.  The skydiver who lands with the cat is declared the winner. 

So … we put together some of my ballooning pals, created some sound effects, and put the Georgia Cat Chasing Championships on the air .. a 90 minute show that, shall we say, shook things up in Atlanta.  People were calling the sheriff demanding our arrest.  Advertisers were calling the station cancelling their advertising contracts.  What an episode! 

So Cristina has taken those 90 minutes and whittled them down to one hour so we can re-run the show tomorrow … 24 years after the original broadcast.  It will be played in the last hour of my show.  If your radio station doesn’t happen to carry this last hour ... well, I guess that really sucks for you.
