Don't Say I Didn't Warn You

When the country was gearing up to re-elect Barack Obama (don’t say I didn’t warn you!), I warned you that a second term of Dear Ruler would bring about a few things … that there were going to be a few focuses for his second term:

I believe I said that the Second Amendment would be under attack, and this is exactly what we’ve seen in the current gun control debate.  I had no idea it would be so soon, but the Democrats really seized-ahold of the “never let a good crisis go to waste” after the Sandy Hook shooting.

Whatever way the White House could find to thank the labor unions for their support, they would exploit in Obama’s second term.  We are already seeing the beginning signs of that in the second term via the National Labor Relations Board.

Then there is climate change.  Perhaps one of the biggest let-downs of Obama’s first term, according to proggies, was his lack of focus on climate change.  Since Super Storm Sandy, and considering the fact that Obama now has nothing to lose on an election, climate change will absolutely be one of the focuses of Obama’s second term.  According to environmentalist groups, Barack Obama is “seriously considering” hosting a climate change summit at the White House sooner rather than later.

And then there is illegal immigration. While Obama managed to move forward parts of the Dream Act through Executive Order, he wants to solidify a Hispanic base for Democrats by pushing through immigration legislation sooner rather than later.
