Based on everything we know about Barack Obama, this won’t surprise you.
This jerk had the gonads to stand up there yesterday and tell productive, rich Americans to bend over because he isn’t through with them yet! Obama framed his $600 billion tax increase he got in the fiscal cliff deal as the beginning of making sure that the wealthiest Americans are paying their fair share. Yup, he is just getting started! And what’s even more insulting is that he is still pushing for tax increases in the name of deficit reduction, which as we know is a complete joke. Obama said, “The fact is, though, we can’t finish the job of deficit reduction through spending cuts alone. We need more revenue.” There aren’t enough rich people in this country to fund your government, Barack!
There’s one more quote he had yesterday about deficit deduction that makes me exercise my gag reflexes. Here it is …
But it seems as if what’s motivating and propelling at this point some of the House Republicans is more than simply deficit reduction. They have a particular vision about what government should and should not do, so they are suspicious about government’s commitments, for example, to make sure that seniors have decent health care as they get older. They have suspicions about Social Security. They have suspicions about whether government should make sure that kids in poverty are getting enough to eat or whether we should be spending money on medical research. So they’ve got a particular view of what government should do and should be.
This is back to that mindless liberal “logic” I’ve warned you about:
You don’t support ObamaCare? You must want poor people and seniors to die!
You think that we need to rein in entitlements? You want to end Social Security as we know it!
You don’t encourage the massive growth in food stamp usage? You want poor kids to starve!
This is the level of intellect we are dealing with, folks. How do you challenge that? Is it even worth challenging? Clearly, the Republicans don’t have any sort of adequate response to these inane assertions from Dear Ruler.
