POP TARTS FOR BREAKFAST

Today I’m going to go buy some Pop Tarts.  No … I’m not going to eat them.  My determination to have a healthy and active retirement means no Pop Tarts.  What I am going to do is bite them into some strange shapes and email pictures to those mindless, idiotic, asinine and all-to-typical school administrators in Maryland who suspended a child because he chewed a Pop Tart into the shape of a gun, though accidently.  George Will had an great column about the “Pop Tart Terrorist” over the weekend.  Here’s your link. 

You need to think about this.  These government schools are where our children are, unfortunately, being taught not only how to read, write and compute, but how to reason and interact with others. What sort of a lesson are our children learning from this mindless school leadership?  You know the answer to that one as well as I do.

Someday (I hope) responsible parents are going to go into full revolt over these hideous government schools.  When they do our legislators will know that they either change our laws to allow for full competition between and among government and private schools.  Vouchers will become the norm.  The money will follow the children to the good schools.  The piss-poor schools will see their students escape, and along with them the money, and will either change or shut down.  Teacher’s unions will scream --- petty bureaucrats who draw their undeserved and unearned power from control over these schools will go into apoplectic shock.  It will be such a wonderful thing to witness.

There has been no greater destructive force in our country over the past 100 years than these government schools.  This is where our children learned the lie of majority rule, the right to vote, and the gospel of entitlement.  It’s time for them to die.  I hope the death is as painful for the people who have used them to manipulate our children as it will be joyous for the children and their parents.

CAN FREEDOM IN AMERICA BE RESTORED?

I don’t want to go through a long diatribe here about America in decline.  You know it – you recognize it – whether you want to admit it or not.  Never did our founding fathers ever envision a government that would tell a café that it could not serve a 20 oz cup of coffee.  Never did our framers consider the establishment of “rights” for the people that allowed them to lay claim to the property of a portion of the life of another.  To be more accurate --- there is only one instance where the people who established our system of government considered the idea that one person had a right to a portion of the life of another – and that was when a jury needed to be struck.  And guess what?  That’s set forth in the Constitution.  You won’t see the “right” to health care in the Constitution, nor the right to shelter, a living wage, a job, or the right to vote.

Yup … that’s right.  The “right” to vote.  It doesn’t exist.  Not at the federal level.  I’ve harped on this before, but it’s becoming more important than ever to recognize this, because as long as we assume that every mindless idiot in this country has a right to vote – in a presidential election, for instance – we have little chance of restoring liberty in America.

I want you to make sure to listen to my morning and evening commentary on WSB tomorrow morning.  It will also be posted here.  You’re going to hear some mindless idiots on the street responding to the question “What do you think about President 0bama pardoning the sequester and sending it to Portugal?”  Yeah .. the question is nonsensical and confusing .. but you should hear these people trying to respond.  One said that the sequester should have been kept here in this country to provide jobs.  And these people VOTE!   Well .. we know at least one of them did.  That was the well-dressed black woman who responded “I don’t know, I just voted for 0bama ‘cause he black.” 

It is becoming more and more clear to me that if we are going to save this country and restore freedom and economic liberty we are going to first have to recognize the fact that, as the Supreme Court has ruled, there is NO Constitutional right to vote in a presidential election.  We are going to have to make sure that ignorant government school teachers stop teaching that our most precious right is the right to vote when the courts have specifically ruled that the right does not exist.  We are going to have to react strongly against so-called “journalists” who promote this “right-to-vote” nonsense in their writings and news coverage.  Americans need to recognize that the right doesn’t exist .. and when that educational effort is over, we need to go to the next step.

The next step?

Yes.  And the next step – once Americans know that they have been misled on this right-to-vote thing – is to engage in the task of deciding who does and who does not get to participate in our federal elections.  In other words --- who are we going to tell to stay away on election day.  In a general sense, we need to start with the people who are voting for a living; the moochers, leaches and parasites who’s only thought on election day is to ponder which candidate will take the most money away from other people and give it to them.  After we’ve eliminated the moocher class from the voting tolls, we start to work on the ignorant.  We eliminate people who cannot tell you the name of their Congressman or either of their two Senators.  We revoke the voter registration of people who say the sequester should be brought back to America from Portugal to provide jobs. 

NOWHERE in our Constitution does it say everyone votes.  NOWHERE does it say the majority rules.  NOWHERE does it say we are a democracy.  Our forefathers contemplated setting forth restrictions on the voting privilege – and yes, it is a privilege.  We need to recognize their wisdom and move now to save as much as we can of what they gave us.
